Sports-Buddies.Com was launched in August 2009, as part of this launch process we ran a feedback competition to win an Ipod Touch.  

The winner was drawn at random from our system, with Oliver Wheatcroft being the lucky guy who is going to receive the Ipod Touch.  His feedback was as follows: 

"My first impressions of the sports buddies website were, I have to say 'fantastic'. I felt that the layout, colours and pictures used made the website look and feel very attractive to myself and I think would defiantly be appealing to more of the younger generation.
 
When first signing up I immediately new what I had to do as the instruction were very clear and easy to follow. When inputting my information to join sports buddies I again found it very simple to add in my details, just by looking at the correct boxes asking me to give the right information in the right place, 'you can't go wrong'!
 
I was then told that my conformation had been sent to my email address with a link below. Clicking on the link, a page appeared telling me my profile had been activated. All this was done very quickly, which took me no longer than seven minutes tops. I especially liked the fact you can rate how good you are at a huge range of sports and activities, showing how good you are at each one.
 
I also think the idea of being able to find both old and new friends on sports buddies is great. Overall I found the sports buddies website was very easy to navigate around, clearly labelling different menu tabs telling you everything you need to know. After seeing the sport buddies website, I will certainly be telling all my friends about it and asking them to join! So I would just like to say a big thankyou to sports buddies for creating such a brilliant website, so thanks!"
